Smooth-shifting 6-speed transmission has a gear for every situation, from low-speed city traffic to high-speed highway use. A larger rear sprocket (43T>>45T) emphasises the Z800’s already more powerful acceleration.

With its larger displacement, the Z800 engine offers increased performance at all RPM. The greater performance is especially noticeable in the low-mid range, adding a greater everyday usability as well as increased riding exhilaration. Shorter final gearing complements the new engine character and emphasises the Z800's stronger accelleration.
